An item reported the arrival in the Table Bay, South Africa on the 22nd of the American whaler Washington master W.S. Topping leaving Sag Harbour, USA on 11 July 1835 on a whaling cruise. Loaded with 1.400 barrels oil. Put in for water etc. Shipping agent US consul Isaac Chase.
