Dutch Greenland commandeur Bartholomeus Gulek returning home according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 18 July 1747

 

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 17 July reported the arrival on 16 July at Texel of the Dutch Greenland commandeur Lourens Walig 10 whales 350 quardelen. Until three days earlier he was accompanied by Bartholomeus Gulek.(1)
