Japanese building program of 20 small coastal patrol vessels approved according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad No. 4 dated April 1940

An item reported that a Japanese building program of 20 small coastal patrol vessels with a total displacement of 34.430 ton was approved. The first ships were to be laid down in April.
