USA intending to establish coal bunker station at Yokohama, Japan according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra post dated 27 June 1901

An item referred to the British weekly magazine Review which reported that the USA was busy with negotiating with others countries with as purpose the establishing of coal bunker stations. At Yokohama, Japan was a small territory purchased.
