An item reporting that Argentine ships were furnishing fuel and supplies to enemy submarines in the southwestern part of the Atlantic could not be confirmed. The J.I.C. commented that the increased distance of the submarine bases made this furnishing attempts for the submarines active off the Brazilian southern coast more and more plausible.
