An item reported the intended departure from Plymouth, England on 30 November by the British HMS Aurora (1), Patriot (2) and Patrician (3) visiting the Azores between 4-8 December, Bermuda between 12-14 December arriving at Halifax [Canada] on 17 December.

1. Part of Arethusa-class light cruisers, preceded by Active-class, succeeded by C-class, laid don by Devonport Dockyard on 24 October 1912, launched on 30 September 1913, commissioned in September 1914, decommissioned in 1918, sold to Canada and sold to be broken up in August 1927.
2. Thornycroft M-class destroyer, laid down by Thornycroft&Company, Southampton, England in July 1915, launched on 20 April 1916, commissioned in June 1916, handed over to Canada in September 1920, commissioned on 1 November 1920, decommissioned in December 1927 and sold to be broken up in 1929.
3. Thornycroft M-class destroyer, laid down by Thornycroft&Company, Southampton, England in June 1915, launched on 5 June 1916, decommissioned in September 1920, handed over to Canada in September 1920, commissioned on 1 November 1920, decommissioned on 1 January 1928 and sodl to be broken up in 1929.
