An item reported that the Norwegian coastal defence was strengthened with around 150 new coastal batteries, soldiers transferred from Germany to man the batteries, further more 16 infantry battalions and a small scale reorganization of the German troops already present in Norway. At Trondheim seemed the existing naval facilities to be increased on a large scale and the naval forces stationed at Norway included 2 battleships and a heavy cruiser.(1)
