American master Walker with the Kingfisher bound home according to the Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald dated 13 February 1860

An item dated Mongonui 23 January referred to the American whaler Jireh Swift which reported that master Walker sold his part of the George and Mary and departed home on 28 November 1859 from the Sandwich Islands with the Kingfisher (late Palmer).
