An item reported that the ship brokers firm BV Intershitra S&P of Rotterdam, Netherlands bought for totally 1,300,000 guilders six Liberty ships of the American reserve fleet reselling the ships to Spanish scrapyards. In the last two years this firm, subsidiary of Erhardt en Dekkers bought 30 ships of the reserve all reselling to Spanish scrapyards.
