An item reported that since the USA started with selling her surplus tonnage the Netherlands bought 30 Victory ships, 28 Liberty ships, 3 cargo ships, 7 coastal freighters and 3 tankers. The request for another 12 Victory ships and 3 other cargo ship was still to be handled.
