An item reported the arrival at Honolulu, Hawaii on5 September of the American barque Sophronia which left behind at the Marquesas Islands the American whaler Wm. Lee of Nantucket 18 months out 350 barrels sperm oil to depart within 3 days for cruising. She was lying for repairs while leaky due to bad caulking at New York.
