Japanese cargo ship Ono Maru No. 18 1921-1945 (1962)

Call sign JNHA. Built by Ono Seikichi, Osaka, Japan in 1921 for One Sheji Gomei Kaisha, Hutyu, Japan, sunk by US aircraft off Ulsan, South Korea. On 28 July 1945, salvaged and finally broken up in 1962. Used by the Imperial Japanese Army. Gross tonnage 1,370 tons, under deck 1,110 tons, net tonnage 773 tons, deadweight 2,150 tons and as dimensions 225.0 x 34.0 x20.0 x 6 (light)-17.5 (loaded) feet. Single screw, reciprocating propulsion with 121 nhp a normal cruising speed of 11 knots and with 260 tons coal bunker capacity a range of 3,500 nautical miles/9 knots.
