The Jaarboek van de Koninklijke Nederlandsche Zeemacht 1908-1909 reported that the Portuguese cruiser Dilly visited Surabaya, Dutch East Indies between 30 April-8 May 1909. According to the Dutch newspaper De Locomotief dated 3 May 1909 arrived she on 30 April at Surabaya coming from Saigon, commanding officer E. Gageau.
