An item reported that by National Bulk Carriers, Kure, Japan on 31 March the tanker Universe Commander (1) was launched, 5 months after she was laid down and expected in May. She was a sister ship of the 84,730 tons deadweight Universe Leader and in the next 18 months were 5 more of this kind scheduled to be built.
