The Jaarboek van de Koninklijke Nederlandsche Zeemacht 1900-1901 reported that the British gunboat HMS Ringdone visited Tandjong-Priok, Dutch East Indies between 14-16 March 1901.

1. Part of Redbreast-class gunboats succeeded by Bramble-class. Laid down by Devonport Dockyard on 1 June 1888, launched on 30 April 1889, converted into a salvage vessel in 1915, renamed Melita, sold to the Ship Salvage Corporation on 22 Januay 1920, renamed Telima and finally broken up in 1926.
