Building of Austrian dreadnought SMS Szent István seriously delayed according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 8

An item reported a serious delay in the building of the fourth ship of the first Austrian dreadnought series namely the Szent István. She was built at the Danubius shipyard at Fiume [nowadays Rijecka, Croatia], which yard had built until then just small cruisers and torpedo boats.(1)

1. Part of Tegethoff-class preceded by Radetzky-class succeeded by Ersatz Monarch-class, laid down on 29 January 1912, launched on 17 January 1914, commissioned on 13 December 1915, torpedoed by the Italian MAS-15 and off Premuda capsized and sunk on 10 June 1918.
