She was laid down at the Dutch shipyard De Noord NV, Alblasserdam with yard number 638 using a Western Union-class design, launched on 1 February 1955 and commissioned on 8 December, decommissioned in 1965, 1977 after a modernisation decommissioned, 1994 decommissioned and laid up, 2000 transferred to the sea scouts Prins Willem Zeeverkenners of Haarlem . Dimensions 46,60 x 8,75 x 2,41 metres. The armament consisted of 2-4cm machine guns. The total horsepower of 2.500 hp allowed a maximum speed of 16 miles and with a speed of 14 miles a range of 4.539 nautical miles.
