Australian whaling barque Earl Stanhope visited Bay of Islands, New Zealand in 1836

A list reported the arrival at Bay of Islands on 14 October 1836 of the Australian whaling barque Earl Stanhope, master Salmo, tonnage 295 tons, homeport New South Whales returning from the sperm oil fishery with a cargo of 1,200 barrels oil.
