Preceded by Bussard-class. Laid down by Schichau Werke, Danzig, Germany on 28 March 1892, launched on 31 March 1893, commissioned on 5 June 1895, barracks ship 1916, stricken on 5 November 1919, sold and converted into the cargo ship Adolf Sommerfeld and broken up at Danzig in 1923.
