Germany to hand over merchant ships to the Allies according to the Weekly Intelligence Summary No. 15 for the week ending 29 March 1919

An item reported the in carrying out of the Naval Terms of Armistice by Germany the present position dealing with the transfer of 271 German merchant ships or food ships to the Allies of which 51 arrived in English territorial waters:

-United Kingdom 227 ships to be assembled at the Firth of Forth and the Thames, arrived 30

-France 32 ships to be assembled at Cherbourg and Brest, arrived 13

-USA 12 ships to be assembled at Cowes, arrived 8
