A list reported the arrival at Bay of Islands on 14 July 1836 of the Tasmanian whaling barque William the Fourth master, Chamberlain, homeport Van Diemen’s Land, Tasmania returning from the sperm oil fishery with a cargo of 550 barrels oil.
