German screw steam corvette SMS Sophie 1880-1921

Part of Carola-class corvettes preceded by Bismarck-class succeeded by SMS Nixe. Laid down by Kaiserliche Werft Danzig, Germany in January 880, launched on 10 November 1881, commissioned on 10 August 1882, decommissioned on 7 April 1899, later a barracks ship, sold in 1920 and broken up in 1921.
