No fuel oil tanks at Marseille, France in 1942

American naval attaché at Paris, France reported in February 1942 that there were no fuel oil storage tanks under construction at Marseille, France. The already existing peanut oil storage tanks were full and additional small to medium seize tanks for peanut oil were being erected. This oil was kept for account of the Axis.
