Gross tonnage 5,624 tons, net tonnage 3,332 tons and as dimensions 406.8 x 55.1 x 30.8 x 10 (light)-25 (loaded) feet. Coal fuelled, speed 12 (normal cruising)-15 (maximum) and range 6,300 nautical miles/12 knots.
