Laid down by Camden Shipbuilding&Marine Railway Co., Camden, Maine, USA as an ATR-1 class resccue tug on 20 January1944, launched on 18 October 1943, completed, handed over and commissioned under lendlease to the United Kingdom on 24 April 1944, renamed HMS Justice, returned to the US Navy on 20 March 1946, renamed BATR-20, stricken on 3 July 1946, sold to Leopoldo Simoncini, Buenos Aires, Argentina on 3 October 1947, laid up in 1954, beached and abandoned in 1957.
Displacement 1,360 tons amd as dimensions 50.42 x 10.21 x 4.83 metres or 165.5 x 33.6 x 15.10 feet. Triple expansion reciprocating steam propulsion, single screw, horsepower 1,600 hp and speed 12 knots. Crew numbered in naval service 32 men. In naval service armed with 1-7.62cm/3” cal 50 gun and 3-2cm guns.
