Freire S.A., Vigo, Spain on 7 May 2016, commissioned on 22 March 2017 for service in Peruvian waters and in Antarctica. Fitted out with helicopter hangar. Crew numbers 50 men excluded 60 scientists. Displacement 5,000 tons and as dimensions 95.3x 18.0 x 5.95 metres or 312.8 x 59.1 x 19.6 feet. Propulsion 2 azimuth propellers, 4,000 hp and speed 16.5 knots.
