Escort vessels when completed rated as Pizarro-class gunboats based on the design of the Eolo-class minelayers and since 1959 rerated as frigates. Launched by Sociedad Española de Construcción Naval (SECN) shipyard at Ferrol, Spain on 8 August 1944, completed on 2 May 1950 and stricken in 1973. Standard displacement 1,740 tons and s dimensions 95.20 (over all) x 12.15 x 3.40 metres or 312.4 x 39.10 x 11.2 feet. Main armament 3x2-12cm/4.7”guns (1 forward, 2 aft)
