Dutch offensive power in Dutch East Indies should be increased at once according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 23 December 1941

An item referred to the M/A Bandoeng reporting that the Dutch forces needed more aircraft just loosing on Sunday 5 planes. It was suggested that as Surabaya on Java was the remaining open naval base the Dutch offensive power should be increased at once.
