French Greenland whaler whaler Le St. Martin still not returned according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamse courant dated 23 September 1700

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 22 September reported that according to the Greenland whaler Le Serre Voland arrriving at Bajoene [Bayonne] stated that she left the ice on 15 July leaving the whaler Le St. Martin with 280 quardelen oil behind.
