Tama Dockyard on 14 December 1929, launched on 31 May 1930, completed on 15 July 1930, requisitioned by the army as transport No. 43, returned to owners, renamed Edogawa Maru in 1956 and broken up in 1965. Gross tonnage 4,109 tons and as dimensions 352 x 49 x 7 (light)-23 (loaded) feet. Reciproating propulsion, single screw, horsepower 241 nhp, coal bunker capacity 476 tons, range 6,000 nautical miles/10.5 knots and speed 10.5 (normal cruising)-12 (maximum) knots.
