American design for a sailing cargo ship around 1981

During experiments was a so-called 278 square metres large cat sail tested on board of the Greek freighter Mini-Lace. A sistership would test a socalled wingsail. Conceptual design figures. Full load displacement 28,565 tons, cargo deadweight 20,000 ton, total deadweight included 520 tons fuel and 255 misc deadweight=20,775 tons, light shipweight 7,790 tons, bale capacity 1,000,000 cubic feet and as dimensions 523.0 (between perpendiculars)-550.0 (over all) x 81.1 x 49.9 x 32.4 (draft full load) feet. Acoomodation for 20-32 men crew and spare 0-12 men.
