Part of Iver Huitfeldt-class reusing the basic hull design of the Absalon-class frigates preceded by the Niels Juel-class corvettes. Built in blocks and assembled at the Odense Steel Shipyard. Laid down on 2 June 2008, launched on 11 March 2010 and commissioned on 21 January 2011.
