Part of Iver Huitfeldt-class reusing the basic hull design of the Absalon-class frigates preceded by the Niels Juel-class corvettes. Built in blocks and assembled at the Odense Steel Shipyard. Laid down on 12 March 2009, launched on 21 December 2010 and commissioned on 21 June 2011.
