Part of Planet-class. Launched by Imperial Shipyard, Wilhelmshaven in 1906 for service in the German colonies. In 1911 she begun first with her tasking going in the end of 1912 towards German East Africa, the outbreak of the First World War in 1914prevented her going to the Indian Ocean. She was then stationed at Dar es Salaam [Tanziana], by her own crew disarmed and scuttled with the use of explosives on 20 September 1914 with the wreck salvaged and broken up in 1922. As the division Möwe was her crew added to the German colonial troops. Crew numbered 102-104 men, armament consisted of 3-3.7cm Hotchkiss Canon revolvers. Speed 9.5 knots. Displacement 650 tons and as dimensions 49 x 9.8 x 2.8 metres.
