Call sign JDIB. Laid down by Asano S.B. Co. Ltd. Tsurumi, Japan ion 15 November 1920, launched on 92 November 1925, delivered on 19 April 1926 and lost in air attack on 17 February 1944. Gross tonnage 5,458 tons, under deck 4,980 tons, netto tonnage 3,407 tons and as dimensions 400.00 x 53.0 x 32.0 x 8 (light)-26 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, horsepower 513 nhp, bunker capacity 1850 tons, range 13,500 nautical miles/10 knots and speed 10 (normal cruising)-12 (maximum) knots.
