Call sign JIHD. Laid down by Asano S.B. Co. Ltd. Tsurumi, Japan on 23 March 1920, launched on 30 September 1920, delivered on 7 June 1921 and torpedoed on 7 December 1944. Gross tonnage 5,463 tons, under deck 4,996 tons, netto tonnage 3,405 tons and as dimensions 400.00 x 53.2 x 29.4 x 8 (light)-26 (loaded) feet. Reciprocating propulsion, single screw, horsepower 513 nhp, bunker capacity 1850 tons, range 13,500 nautical miles/10 knots and speed 10 (normal cruising)-12 (maximum) knots.
