Russian icebreaker Lenin available in 1936

In a report dated 15 December 1936 dealing with the strength and composition of the Soviet fleet were the icebreakers mentioned available for the surface fleet. Stationed in the Baltic. Homeport Archangelsk. Built in 1916. Gross register tonnage 3,288 tons. Horsepower 7,950hp. Speed 16 nautical miles. (1)

1. Lloyds Register 1939-1940. Ex-St. Alexandre Nevky. Call sign UNZP. Gross tonnage 3,828 tons, under deck 3,582 tons, net tonnage 1,310 tons and as dimensions 281.0 x 63.9 x 32.8 feet. Built by Armstrong Whitworth&Co. Ltd., Newcastle, England in June 1917.
