American cruiser USS Louisville completed according to the Treaty bulletin No. 19 dated 30 April 1931

An item reported that the Secretary of the Navy informed on 2 April 1931 the Secretary of State that the cruiser USS Louisville was completed on 6 March 1931. According to the London Naval Treaty article were the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Japan Informed. Standard displacement 9,050 tons/ 9,195 metric tons and as dimensions 569 (waterline) x 66.1 (extreme beam at or below waterline) and 16.4 (mean draft at standard displacement) feet. Main calibre 8”.

Ordered on 18 December 1924, awarded 19 April+13 June 1927, laid down by Puget Sound Naval Yard, Bremerton, Washington, USA on 4 July 1928, launched on 1 September 1930, commissioned on 15 January 1931, classified as light cruiser CL-28 redesignated as heavy cruiser on 1 July 1931, decommissioned on 17 June 1946, stricken on 1 March 1959 and sold to be broken up on 14 September 1959.
