British naval force arrived at Malta according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatra Post dated 4 October 1911

An item reported the arrival of five British battleships and 3 cruisers at Malta.(1)

1. The Kingdom of Italy and the Ottoman Empire were in war between 29  September 1911-18 October 1912. Italy captured Ottoman Tripolitania Vilayet which became the Italian colonies Tripolitania and Cyrenaica afterwards emerged in Italian Libya.
