An item reported that the Japanese naval forces in the Truk area seemed to have a larger operation area then earlier assumed namely attacks and landings between Borneo and New Guinea creating a continuous from Borneo eastward. Submarines copperating with aircraft were to defend Japan against surprise naval raids. In the meantime arrived convoys with reinforcements Luzon, Philippines and Malaya.
