According to a letter dated Zagreb 4 November 1943 of the German embassy at Zagreb to the Department of an independent Croatia were the results represented of a investigation concerning Croatian merchant coastal shipping and navy. Belonged to the Trade Ministry on behalf of the three nautical academies. Fitted out with steam engine. Gross register 257 tons. Lying in the Croatian harbour Crikvenica under Croatian flag taken by the Italians to Pola and used by the Italian navy.(1)

1. The Independent State of Croatia was established after Yugoslavia was captured by Italy and Germany on 10 April 1941. This state was first an Italian Protectorate between 1941-1943 and then a German puppet state between 1943-1945.
