Laid down by by Mitsui Bussan Kaisha Ld., Tama Dockyard or Zosembu shipyard, Japan on 19 May 1926, launched on 24 November 1926, completed on 28 December, requisitioned by the navy on 1 November 1937, registered as an auxiliary gunboat on 4 November 1937, released to her owners on 2 November 1938, requisitoned again on 23 February 1942, registered as a auxiliary store ship on 26 February 1942 and torpedoed and sunk by American submarine USS Amberjack (SS-219) underway from Ponape, Craolines towards Yokosuka, Japan on 7 October 1942 and stricken from the Navy List on 30 November 1942. Gross tonnage 2,095-2,101 tons, under deck 1,685 tons, netto tonnage 1,522 tons, deadweight 3,182 tons and as dimensions 275.0 x 40.7 x 21.0 x 6.01 (light)-18.4 (loaded) feet.
