Japanese transports sighted off Singora, Malaya according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 8 January 1942

An item reported that 24 transports which seemed to transport a Japanese brigade were sighted off Singora which was the base for the Japanese attack in western Malaya.
