In his letter dated Istanbul, Turkey 27 January 1940 No. 690g. reported the German naval attaché to the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht Abteilung Ausland the ships passing Istanbul coming out of the Black Sea and loaded with contraband for or chartered by the enemy. An item reported on 20 January the British steam tanker Adour armed with 1 gun on the stern. 2 Masts. Complete painted dark grey.
