An item reported that an American attack on 6 patrol aircraft on Japanese battleships, cruisers, destroyers and a seaplane tender in the Tutu Bay, Jolo Island, Sulu Archipelago (about latitude 5.55 north 121,15 east), Philippines was without success, but a failure while loosing 4 aircraft.
