Used on board of the Chilean Oberon-class submarines Hyatt and O’Brien built in the 1970s. Part of Oberon-class preceded by Porpoise-class succeeded by Upholder- and Collins classes. The Chilean Oberon-class submarines were replaced by the German Type 209 THomson-class.
