Modified Bittern-class sloop later known as the Black Swan-class. Ordered under the 1939 Programme for the Royal Indian Navy on 8 September 1939, laid down by William Denny and Brothers, Dumbarton, Scotland on 4 January 1940, launched on 1 October 1940, commissioned on 23 April 1941, used as survey ship since 1955, decommissioned in 1978, sold to be broken up in 1979 and broken up in 1980.
