Part of Castle-class corvettes preceded by Flower-class corvettes. Ordered on 23 January 1943, laid down at Harland and Wolff, Belfast, Northern Ireland with yard number 120 on 21 June 1943, launched on 8 February 1944, complted on 26 June 1944 as HMS Rising Castle, handed over to Canada on 8 June 1944, renamed HMCS Arnprior, decommissioned on 14 March 1946, sold to Uruguay in 1956, served as training ship and broken up in 1975.
