American whaling barque Massachusetts arrived at Honolulu, Hawaii according to the The Friend dated 1 December 1869

An item reported the arrival on 12 November  of the American whaling barque Massachusetts, master Wilcox, coming from the Arctic, 1,000 barrels whale oil, 40 barrels sperm oil, 15,000 lbs bone.
