Schleswig-Holstein screw steam gunboat Von der Tann set in fire by gunfire of the Hekla in the Neustadt Bight in 1850

Originally named Gunboat No. 1 .Part of the Black-Red-Gold-flagged flotilla of Schleswig-Holstein which was part of the German Bundesflotte. Laid down by Hilbert Shipyard, Kiel in 1848, required on 5 February 1849, grounded on 21 July 1850 during her fight with the Danish paddlesteamship Hekla and the sailing corvette Valkyrien. Set afire was she blewn up by her commanding officer, but still salvaged and handed over to Denmark in 1852. Renamed Støren and in Danish naval service until 1860.
